The Original Macintosh
Anecdotes about the development of Apple's original Macintosh computer, and the people who created it. (119 stories)
Burrell Smith's brilliant digital board provided the seed that the rest of the team coalesced around. Its Woz-inspired creativity set the tone for the rest of the project.

Besides five different Macintoshes, Burrell also designed the digital board for the LaserWriter printer. In 1986, he co-founded Radius, and created their first two products, the Radius Full Page Display and the Radius Accelerator.
